Architectural practice WWA has teamed up with Thames Tap as our latest Valley Voice.
As reported in Thames Tap in March, the firm was formed by a merger of Abingdon-based West Waddy and West London-based Archadia Architects.
Managing director Philip Waddy said: “WWA are delighted to be sponsoring UK Property Forums in the Thames region.
“Whilst the past 12 months have been challenging for all of us involved in planning, designing and delivering the built environment, there is undoubtedly a huge pent up demand for investment in our region and we expect many projects, previously on hold due to Covid, will come forward as lockdown restrictions are lifted.
“In particular, recent Government support for the Oxford – Cambridge Arc is an important milestone and we await with anticipation the Government’s response to last year’s consultation on the planning White Paper.
“WWA are confident that the slowdown in the economy over the past year will quickly turn into a boost for well-established consultancies such as ours – with a significant increase in new enquiries already received in the first part of 2021.
“In particular, our skills and ability to plan and design sustainable low carbon development solutions puts us in a strong position to meet national and local energy reduction targets.”
