Croudace Homes has renewed its attempt to build hundreds of properties on a site in Thatcham.
The developer has submitted proposals to West Berkshire Council for up to 200 homes and a 80-bed care home on a 22.42-hectare site between Bowling Green Road, Heath Lane and Cold Ash Hill, to be called Henwick Park.
Croudace had initially proposed 265 homes in 2015, a scheme which eventually lost on appeal in 2017, and submitted a further application for 225 in 2016, which was refused by the council.
The new outline application for up to 200 homes of up to four bedrooms, includes a 45 per cent allocation of affordable homes with 45 per cent for open market sale and 10 per cent for serviced self or custom build plots. There will be a 12.3-hectare country park.
