Berkeley Homes has submitted plans for 214 properties in Maidenhead, the first of a number expected in the south west of the town.

The developer plans 75 flats with one or two bedrooms and five with three, plus 134 three, four and five bedroom houses on a 7.21-hectare site south of Manor Lane.

The site sits alongside the future CALA Homes scheme at Maidenhead Golf Club as well as others involving Heyford Developments & St Philips Homes, Harvest Hill, Staxlink and Vanderbilt Homes.

A 30 per cent allocation of affordable homes is accounted for in the Berkeley scheme.

The site is allocated in the recently adopted Royal Borough Local Plan as part of the wider AL13 allocation for South West Maidenhead which will see around 2,600 new homes delivered in total.
