Plans for up to 305 homes and a primary school in Warfield have been submitted to Bracknell Forest Council.

A consortium which includes Danescroft and Taylor Wimpey has submitted the outline application, via Barton Willmore, for a 13.87-hectare site on the northern outskirts of Bracknell. It stretches from Old Priory Lane to Maize Lane, along Harvest Ride.

The homes, of between one and five bedrooms, will include up to 25 per cent affordable properties.

The site is one of a number within Warfield allocated for a mix of uses including 2,200 homes, the first phase of which is already under construction by Berkeley Homes.
