An application for the development of 38 dwellings, alongside associated landscaping and infrastructure near Willersey, Gloucestershire, has been validated by Cotswold District Council.

The development is being brought forward by Newland Homes, who intend for the dwellings to be a mix of open market and affordable, comprised of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, which will mostly be semi-detached and detached houses.

The proposed 1.8-hectare site is currently agricultural land.

If successful, the development will seek to construct 84 new car parking spaces.

The site, known as Moore Land, has seen multiple attempts at development by Newland in the past, for similar applications, however so far all have been refused.
