Plans for 40 homes have been submitted for a site which was formerly in Oxford’s Green Belt.

Parthings Farm Management & Promotion has applied to Oxford City Council to build on the 0.8-hectare Marston Paddock site, three miles north east of the city centre.

The proposed scheme of 14 one and two bedroom flats and 26 two, three and four bedroom houses will have an affordable homes proportion of 50 per cent. There will be open space at the centre of the scheme.

The Marston Paddock site was taken was out of the Green Belt as part of the Local Plan process when an exceptional circumstances case was made to alter the Green Belt boundary which now borders the A40.
