Kier Living Eastern has submitted a scoping opinion request ahead of plans for up to 90 homes at Didcot.
The developer has submitted the request to South Oxfordshire District Council over plans to build the homes at a 4.7-hectare site at Ladygrove Farm.
It forms part of the 143-hectare North East Didcot Housing Allocation where more than 2,000 will be built.
The Kier scheme has a 40 per cent affordable allocation.
