A commercial development site at Kempson Way, Suffolk Business Park has been sold to adjacent occupiers Sealey.
Plots one, two and C4 on Kempson Way equate to an acre of land, situated in the south of the Bury St Edmunds business park, which is currently a prime area for development.
Sealey is a family run local but internationally renowned tool and workshop equipment manufacturing firm, who already occupy sites on the business park. Other businesses on the park also include flavourings company TREATT, Bobby’s Foods and printing firm Denny Bros. The new site was acquired with the intention of expanding the firm’s professional tool and workshop equipment business.
Sealey’s group projects director, Mark Sweetman, said “We are delighted to have secured this parcel of land adjacent to our current site which will allow us to expand our QC, marketing and warehouse facilities. This will help facilitate further growth of the business which in turn will create further opportunities for current staff and new openings as we look to grow the team.”
The transaction was completed by Eddisons on behalf of the vendor.
