The Greater Cambridge green travel consultation is open, with locals being encouraged to continue to give their views on the matters to the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP).

The consultation is focussing on three main areas; a new bus network enhanced and expanded to offer a more frequent service with better connections and operating hours; funding transport improvements, such as creating a new public transport network; and better cycling and walking routes across the area.

There are a number of events taking place where people can voice their opinions, the first of which was a consultation on Cambridge Eastern Access on December 1, which comprised of two sessions of a presentation followed by a question-and-answer session.

The next event, an online public consultation, will be happening over Zoom on December 13, which will consist of a presentation, Making Connections, followed by another question-and-answer session.

There will also be a North Greater Cambridge Partnership Community online forum on December 14 over Zoom, giving a review on the Making Connections presentation, as well as updating people on other GCP schemes including the Waterbeach to Cambridge link, Milton Road, Histon Road and Greenways.

The consultation closes at midday on December 20.
