IKEA plan to open their first UK High street store at Kings Mall, Hammersmith, on February 24th 2022.
Taking inspiration from life at home in London, the store will feature IKEA’s much-loved interior design with the entire product range available to buy from the store for home delivery and over 2,000 home furnishing accessories available to take away on the same day.
This will be the first time that IKEA’s iconic home furnishing accessories will be available to buy on the UK high street. And for those who find a trip to IKEA isn’t complete without some iconic meatballs, fear not, as there will be a Swedish food offer in Kings Mall so that visitors can sample both classic fare or the newest offerings from the retailer.
The store builds on IKEA’s brand pledge to become more “affordable, accessible and sustainable”.
Peter Jelkeby, Country Retail Manager and Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA UK & Ireland, added: “For the first time, Londoner’s will be able to take the tube to an IKEA store, pop in, grab a yellow bag and buy all the home furnishing accessories that make a house a home. They will also be able to explore the whole range, for delivery to a convenient collection point or directly to their home.”
