Bewley Homes’ plans for 65 properties in Deepcut go before councillors in Surrey Heath on Thursday (June 9) with a recommendation for approval.
The housebuilder wants to demolish commercial buildings and one house on the 4.58-hectare Frimhurst Farm site for six one-bedroom, 22 two-bedroom, 19 three-bedroom and 18 four and five-bedroom homes.
A total of 40 per cent will be affordable. Each house will have EV charging within the total 175 parking spaces which includes garages. The site, accessed off Deepcut Bridge Road, is between the Basingstoke Canal and the railway line. The development will include 2.47-hectares of open space.
The team on the project includes Lichfields as planning consultant and the Noble Consultancy on architecture and design.
