Joanne Jones has joined Nexus Planning’s Reading team as associate director.

Joanne joins from Pegasus and has almost two decades’ experience, primarily in the private sector, advising housebuilders, land owners and developers.

Key residential projects she has worked on include an estate regeneration scheme for 260 homes in London, a greenfield residential development of 210 homes in Havant and an office-to-residential conversion along with wider redevelopment in Hampshire.

She also helped deliver new ward and theatre blocks and a new energy centre with incineration and biomass generation at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Joanne started her career at Ipswich Borough Council, working in development control before switching to the private sector and joining Roger Tym & Partners (part of Peter Brett Associates) in 2011.

In her new role she will work alongside Reading office director, Oliver Bell.

He said: “Joanne’s appointment enhances senior support across our diverse portfolio of new and existing projects.  We’re delighted to have Joanne on board.”

Joanne said: “Nexus’ strong reputation, impressive growth and the consultancy’s dynamic approach to doing business very much attracted me to the role.”
