Cambridge-based property investment and development company Howard Group has appointed Thomas Bewes as asset manager.
Chartered surveyor Mr Bewes was previously with JLL, where he spent the last five years, most recently in the industrial & logistics agency team where his clients operated across Hertfordshire and East Anglia.
Katherine Friend, director – investment & asset management for the Howard Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Thomas to Howard Group.
“His experience complements that of our existing team perfectly and we are excited to have him on board as we enter another significant period of activity and growth across our asset management and investment portfolios.”
Mr Bewes said: “It’s an exciting opportunity for me to be involved at Howard Group as we drive towards the Centenary Vision and seek to foster sustainable growth across the existing portfolio as well as investing responsibly in new ventures and assets.”
Mr Bewes’ initial focus will be on implementing strategic asset plan initiatives across the portfolio and he will be closely involved in shaping the portfolio towards achieving the Group’s Centenary Vision to achieve net zero by 2035.
