UK Property Forums partner Carter Jonas is supporting a striking charity initiative which will bring more than 30 colourful life sized ox sculptures to the streets of Oxford.
The OxTrail, which raises money for Sobell House Hospice Charity, is run in conjunction with public artwork producer Wild in Art.
The sculptures will hit the streets on July 6 and will stay on display until the end of August before they are auctioned off to raise money for the hospice. A Carter Jonas-designed ox will be kept under wraps until the start of the trail.
Amelia Foster, chief executive of Sobell House Hospice Charity, said: “Across eight weeks, OxTrail will encourage locals and visitors of all ages to explore Oxford’s iconic attractions and find some hidden gems. It’ll be a huge event for the city but one we would not be able to do without the fantastic support and sponsorship from local businesses such as Carter Jonas.”
Simon McConnell, Head of Carter Jonas Oxford, said: “OxTrail promises to add more art, intrigue, and vibrancy to our already beautiful city while also raising essential funds for a charity that is dear to many in our community.
“I recently attended an unveiling of the shortlisted designs, and it was great to see how OxTrail is coming together. We are thrilled to support this initiative and eagerly anticipate the final design of our own ox sculpture and the rest of the happy herd.”
