Plans for up to 165 homes at Bloxham in Oxfordshire have been revealed in a screening opinion request to Cherwell District Council.

Architect and planning consultancy Define, on behalf of William Davis Homes, has asked if an environmental impact assessment is required for its plans to develop a 7.8-hectare site off A361 South Newington Road which consists of three roughly rectangular fields on the southern edge of the Oxfordshire Village (centre of Google image above).

The scheme’s masterplan, which identifies a net developable area of around 4.7 hectares, proposes new vehicular and pedestrian access from South Newington Road and a new crossing.

A new footpath will lead from the South East of the site to the village centre 600 metres to the north.
