Plans for 82 homes at Carterton have been submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council.

Annington Property has applied to redevelop a 2.5-hectare site which had previously been accommodation for 90 forces families.

Under the plans by Annington, the land in Upavon Way will be developed for a mix of houses and flats including 11 one-bedroom homes, 29 with two, 33 with three and nine with four. There will be new access in Stanmore Crescent.

The flats will be in three-storey apartment blocks while the houses will be two-storey.

There will be a 35 per cent proportion of affordable homes.

The scheme was planned by PPML and designed by DLA Architects with Markides Associates on transport.
