A 39,000 sq ft retail site in Camberley has been put up for sale by Surrey Heath Borough Council.

The building at 6 – 10 Princess Way, includes 13,000 sq ft of existing ground floor retail (Poundland and Pets Corner) along with 26,000 sq ft on upper floors.

The council says it offers ‘significant potential for redevelopment into modern, desirable town centre housing or continued commercial use’.

Cllr Kel Finan-Cooke, portfolio holder for property and economic development, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a large commercial property in the heart of Camberley.

“The town is vibrant, affluent, and well-connected, making it an attractive location for both residential and commercial investment, mirroring other successful adjacent developments.”

The sale is part of a review of council-owned property, designed to help balance the books.
