An outline application seeking the construction of 70 residential dwellings at land adjacent to Woodlands Cottage, Oxhey Lane in Watford will be heard at tomorrows Three Rivers District Council Planning Committee meeting.

The application is being brought forward by Kebbell Development, with Savills acting as agent, and Adam Urbanism responsible for masterplanning.

The 2.7-hectare site is assessed as Grey Belt, comprised mostly of open grazing land, and is adjacent to Watford Heath, also adjoining residential properties along the northern and eastern boundaries.

In addition to the dwellings, a new access onto Oxney Lane for pedestrians and vehicles would be implemented.

The officer recommendation is to delegate authority to the head of Regulatory Services in order to grant planning permission, following the completion of a S106 Agreement.
