Shared workspace provider NewFlex has opened The Quad, its new 30,000 sq ft base at One Station Hill in Reading.
The space, spread over two floors, ranges from large private office suites for corporate businesses to co-working spaces for entrepreneurs and start-ups with flexible contracts at the town’s premier office location.
Wellness features accessible to occupiers include a boutique gym, rooftop yoga, and dedicated wellness rooms, as well as a lounge area. ONE Station Hill has Platinum WiredScore Certification.
The launch of The Quad in Reading follows openings in Oxford, Cambridge and, most recently, Bracknell, with further openings due, including a signature London site at the acclaimed TIDE Bankside building.
Steve Jude, chief executive of NewFlex, said: “With high levels of pre-launch interest and buzz around this incredible new landmark building, we are thrilled to unveil The Quad ONE Station Hill.
“Located in Reading’s most sought-after new development in what is one of the UK’s strongest regional businesses destinations, this new space is set to raise the bar for Reading’s business landscape.
“Our goal is to empower businesses of all sizes with flexible workspaces that foster growth and success, while prioritising employee wellbeing and reducing environmental impact.
“The Quad also offers opportunities to connect with other members in a vibrant community, providing the perfect space for the exchange of ideas where everyone can flourish.”
Evan Reynolds, development director of Lincoln Property Company, speaking on behalf of the Station Hill JV, said: “We are excited to welcome NewFlex as our first tenant in this exceptional workspace for Reading. ONE Station Hill has filled a significant gap in the Thames Valley commercial market for Grade A office buildings with its outstanding digital technology and sustainability credentials.
“The arrival of NewFlex’s innovative workspace offer, The Quad, is a clear demonstration of demand in the area from both established corporates and smaller businesses and start-ups for premium office space which meets their specific requirements.
“We look forward to supporting The Quad over the coming years and wish it every success in attracting new users and occupiers, not only from Reading itself but from across the wider South East region.”
