Frasers is reportedly in talks to buy Swindon Designer Outlet for a sum in the region of £275 million, according to CoStar.

The retail centre has been owned by LaSalle Investment Management since 2022 and is managed by outlet-specialist McArthurGlen Group.

The fashion retailer established by Mike Ashley is best known for being the parent company of Sports Direct.

Swindon Designer Outlet has over 100 stores, including Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

Frasers Group has been one of the most active retail investors in recent years. In the last 12 months it has bought the 600,000 sq ft Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter, the 350,000 sq ft Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre in Maidstone, and the 65,000 sq ft The Olympus Centre retail park in Gloucester.
