Pension fund Railpen and its development partner Socius have appointed Bidwells as leasing agent for retail and leisure space at a 180,000 sq ft campus central Cambridge.

Mill Yard is a mixed-use scheme set within a 1.5-acre public park. The development shall provide homes, workspaces and community amenities.

The scheme’s 5,500 sq ft ground-floor retail offering consists of three units comprising a 2,688 sq ft nursery, a 1,748 sq ft restaurant or wine bar and a 1,187 sq ft café or bakery.

James Lankfer, head of retail and leisure at Bidwells said: “we are already receiving strong interest from several well-known and well-established independent businesses.”

Completion is expected in early 2027.

Knight Frank, Cushman & Wakefield and Bidwells are the office agents for Mill Yard.
