An additional public consultation for the Cambridge 25 employment park, near Junction 25 of the A14, will run between 17th February and 10th March 2026.
This new round of public consultation features two online webinars and a consultation website. The updated site masterplan responds to a draft allocation as a major new employment site for around 240,000 square metres of floor space in the emerging Greater Cambridge Local Plan.
The two webinars will take place between 13:00 – 14:00 on Thursday 26th February and between 19:00 – 20:00 on Tuesday 2nd March.
The developer, Lolworth Developments Limited, originally invited views from the community and stakeholders to inform the initial 123,000 square metre proposal in the autumn of 2025. The feedback gathered from that exercise has been reflected in the newly updated masterplan.
Graeme Cosgrove, development director at Lolworth Developments, said: “Cambridge 25 represents an exciting opportunity to deliver a modern, high-quality landscape led employment park in the best location possible in Greater Cambridge.
“It was an important and significant decision to allocate the whole of our site in the emerging new Greater Cambridge Local Plan, and we are naturally delighted to see the councils’ evidence-led approach recognising the suitability of the site.
“As a consequence of this draft allocation, we are now bringing forward a revised and more extensive masterplan which includes development on both sides of the bridleway.
“This new masterplan is informed by the valuable insights gained from talking to people last year and listening to their comments and priorities. We are incredibly grateful for this feedback which has helped us to shape our wider site proposals – from even more landscaping to more extensive walking and cycling routes through the site and connections with the nature park.
“We would now welcome feedback on these revised proposals and are encouraging the local community to share their views before we submit a planning application this spring.”
The revised plans will help to meet an identified need for employment floorspace in Greater Cambridge. Following feedback gathered in autumn of last year, some revisions to the plans include: further structural landscaping, a community hub, larger HGV yards, public WC facilities in the nature park as well as better walking and cycling connections.
Anyone wishing to provide feedback can do so via an online feedback form which will be available at www.cambridge25.com. All feedback shared during consultation will be considered by the design team before an outline planning application is submitted in spring this year.
