Ealing Council Planning Committee has approved the development of a 100-room apart-hotel on Gunnersbury Avenue, Acton.
The proposal involves demolishing the existing structures to construct a part five, six-storey building with a basement, forming a 100-room apart-hotel (Use Class C1) with a café (Use Class E), co-working space, and function/communal space.
 The development would have a total floor area of 3,522m² and include various communal amenities such as a ground-floor café, co-working space, a fifth-floor function space with a roof terrace, and a landscaped courtyard on the lower ground floor. The rooms will range from 18m² to 32m², with Juliet balconies and 10 per cent accessible rooms. The building will have a contemporary design, predominantly brick with metal cladding on the top floor, and will be car-free with cycle storage provisions.
The developers are Urbane London, a family-owned, private development company that creates high-quality homes with design innovation at the heart.
