Leading planning and design consultancy, Boyer (part of LRG), has announced the appointment of Namita Narayani as senior urban designer in Boyer Design, based in its London office.
Trained in architecture and with a master’s degree in urban design from the Bartlett, University College London (UCL), Namita brings extensive experience in the strategic master planning of new towns and residential-led masterplans across the UK, together with a strong design ethos and a clear placemaking focus.
At Boyer, Namita will work across a range of sites through land promotion, outline planning applications and design codes, helping clients to unlock complex strategic sites.
Commenting on the appointment, Ananya Banerjee, director and head of Boyer Design, said: “We are very excited to welcome Namita on board. Her experience of working on new towns and residential-led masterplans is a great asset for Boyer Design, especially now, as we continue to be busy de-risking complex strategic sites for our clients.”
Namita added: “Joining Boyer Design is an exciting opportunity to be able to apply a strong context-led approach to sites and shape projects, from strategic masterplans to design codes. I’m looking forward to working closely with clients and colleagues and delivering projects that are both deliverable and of value to the communities they serve.”
