DEXTERS has acquired the multi-national Estate Agency LiFE Residential.

DEXTERS, London’s leading independent Chartered Surveyor and Estate Agent, has acquired LiFE Residential, an award-winning multi-national estate agency specialising in lettings, property management and new home sales with a network of eight offices in strategic locations across London, as well as Asia offices in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The acquisition of LiFE Residential continues to strengthen DEXTERS position as London’s number one sales and lettings agent and now gives the business a footprint in Asia. LiFE Residential currently manages some 5,000 properties across London, specialising in new build properties and providing comprehensive asset management for property investors, including many overseas investors.

Founded in 2000, LiFE Residential provides sales, lettings and property management, including a dedicated Build-to-Rent team, with many landlord and developer clients retaining LiFE Residential for over two decades. The firm’s London offices are in Canary Wharf, Royal Wharf, Greenwich, Nine Elms, Westminster, North & City and North Acton.

Led by CEO Andy Shepherd, working alongside chairman Justin King CBE, DEXTERS senior management are excited to be working with their new LiFE Residential colleagues, headed up by director Josh Larn, who runs the sales and lettings operation and director Teresa Duarte, who is responsible for Property Management and support services.

LiFE Residential has 170 colleagues who speak 32 languages between them. They will be joining DEXTERS, which has a team of over 2,000 colleagues. LiFE Residential is the appointed specialist letting and management agent for several high-profile London developers, including Galliard Homes on their developments The Stage in Shoreditch TCRW Soho on Oxford Street and City & Docklands for their One West Point and Mitre Yard developments and the upcoming North Kensington Gate.

The acquisition of LiFE Residential underlines the ongoing expansion of DEXTERS, London’s fastest-growing estate agent, having already acquired Marsh & Parsons in January 2023. The group now operates 155 offices across London, with further presence in Singapore and Hong Kong. With this latest acquisition, the group now has 2,200 colleagues serving 42,000 landlords and advising on selling over £5 billion worth of property per year.

Andy Shepherd, CEO of DEXTERS says: “The acquisition of LiFE Residential continues to strengthen DEXTERS position as London’s number one sales and lettings agent and gives the business a multi-national presence for the first time in our history, with offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. LiFE Residential also expands DEXTERS footprint in the capital’s new homes lettings marketplace since LiFE is a leading specialist in this sector with long-standing clients, including Galliard Homes and City & Docklands. I remain extremely confident about the London property market and believe DEXTERS has significant opportunity for further expansion through future acquisitions and new office openings.”

Josh Larn, commercial director of LiFE Residential, says: “We are delighted to be joining DEXTERS, the market leader in London’s estate agency sector. LiFE Residential is proud to manage some 5,000 properties and represent over 7,000 tenants across the capital. Over the last 23 years, we have built a strong reputation led by our high-quality new home lettings product offering and exceptional customer service, and we are excited for the opportunity for future growth provided by becoming part of DEXTERS.”

DEXTERS sell and let more property in the capital than anyone else, and the business has maintained consistent growth, increasing revenue at circa 15 per cent per year over the last ten years. DEXTERS has a consistent track record of providing first-class service, with over 55,000 Google reviews and an average rating of 4.9 out of 5. DEXTERS is also the first UK estate agent registered to provide professional qualifications under the guidance and regulation of OFSTED and the ESFA.
