Approval has been recommended for 200 homes at Twyford.
Croudace Homes’ outline plans for up to 200 properties on land at Bridge Farm go before Wokingham Borough Council’s planning committee on February 8 with approval recommended on the condition a s106 agreement is signed.
The 12.13-hectare agricultural site, south of the A4 New Bath Road, currently has some farm buildings on it but those will make way for the scheme.
The site is directly opposite land around Loddon Park Farm where David Wilson Homes has submitted outline plans for 230 properties.
The new application, which has attracted hundreds of objections, was considered at the planning committee’s December meeting but deferred for the collection of additional information including access and highways issues, school places, environmental concerns and the site’s pedestrian links to the Piggott School.
The team on the project includes Paul Brown on architecture, Boyer on planning and Barton Hyett Associates on arboriculture.
