Ed Boden has joined Savills to head the residential sales team in Guildford.
He joins after eight years at Strutt & Parker, where he was head of office in South Kensington and then Chelsea.
Ed began his career in estate agency in 2010, after graduating from the University of Reading with a BSc in building construction and management.
Over 15 years in property, he has worked across various locations in prime central London, leading successful sales teams.
Now living in Surrey, he will lead the busy residential sales team at Savills Guildford, covering property in the town and surrounding area, ranging from town centre apartments to significant country homes in nearby villages.
The office covers all aspects of the property market across residential sales, lettings, new homes, development and planning. Ed will also work closely with surrounding Savills offices and the wider regional network, as well as the firm’s London-based country department.
Alongside his career in property, Ed is also a commissioned officer in the Royal Navy Reserves, where he serves in the General Warfare Branch.
He said: “I am delighted to be joining Savills to head up the residential team in Guildford. It is a privilege to represent such a trusted brand in an area so full of opportunity.
“With Savills behind me, I have no doubt we will ensure the Guildford office holds its position as one of the best agents in Surrey and further builds on its success, while continuing to offer the very best service to our clients.”
Simon Ashwell, head of Savills Surrey region, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Ed, whose expertise, impressive track record and London contacts will be an excellent addition to our brilliant team in Guildford.
“I am confident that with Ed’s arrival, we will continue to further expand on our strong performance in the area.”
