Accountancy giant EY has said there are no plans to relocate the firm’s Reading office from Apex Plaza.
The firm, formerly Ernst & Young, reviewed its property options in late 2015 and early 2016 and talk of a 40,000 sq ft requirement has persisted ever since. It occupies 37,000 sq ft in Apex Plaza.
In 2016 Costar News named four options being considered including R+, Thames Tower, Forbury Place and The White Building.
But EY has told Thames Tap the firm has no plans to move. In a statement, EY said: “EY are committed to continuing to build on strong foundations in Reading. Any rumours of a proposed move from our current location is speculation.”
