The first homes at Oxford North have hit the market.

The first phase of Pollard Thomas Edwards-designed Canalside Quarter, comprising 207 houses and flats, has been released to the market by developer Hill Group. They range from one-bedroom flats to £1.6 million family houses of five bedrooms.

The 64-acre Oxford North scheme is seen as a flagship, state-of-the-art development where around 4,500 jobs will be accommodated alongside homes, cafes, bars, a hotel, green space and cultural amenities.

Rebecca Littler, group sales and marketing director at The Hill Group, said: “At Canalside Quarter, you will be able to connect to one of the world’s greatest cities, while also being immersed within a revitalising green space that promotes a healthy lifestyle and community. Boldly modern in design, the architectural aesthetic and the inspiring new neighbourhood set a fresh standard for modern living. Hill is very excited to be a part of the evolution of this new district and vibrant setting.”

An area called Neighbourhood Square will offer a landscaped park as a central hub with play areas and meadow grasslands. Walking and cycling will encouraged by new links through the site.
