Damira Dental Studios is to be the first occupier to move into Signal Yard, Milton Park’s new community hub.
Damira, which will treat NHS and private patients, expects to move in later this year. It has one of 13 units out of a total 17, already let or under offer at Signal Yard, which is due to have an official launch next year,
A mix of well-known names and independent local businesses will provide a range of amenities.
Clare Fleet, commercial surveyor for Milton Park, said: “The Signal Yard project was a key deliverable of our 2040 vision and was born out of feedback from stakeholders, occupiers and local residents, shaping the scheme from the very start.
“The result is a space that is welcoming to everyone and uses the green space around the buildings, which we know our occupiers enjoy. It also reflects our ambition to transform Milton Park into a destination beyond the traditional nine to five working day, offering a vibrant 24/7 environment with amenities for everyone.
“The level of interest we received from retailers was huge and with the incredible support of Tom Vecchione, director at Benedicts Surveyors, we have been able to curate and partner with an exciting mix of innovative and well-known local businesses in Oxfordshire.”
“This project has been one of the most challenging of my career but also a real highlight and I cannot wait to see how our occupiers and the local community enjoy it. I am particularly excited to begin revealing our operators, starting today with the award-winning Damira Dental Studios”
Anushika Brogan, founder and chief executive of Damira Dental Studios, said: “We are delighted to be opening our brand-new state-of-the-art studio at Signal Yard.
“With excellent transport links and a vibrant mix of shops and services it is an ideal, accessible location for patients to receive dental care. The new practice will provide both NHS and private dentistry, from routine check-ups and preventive care to advanced treatments, all in a modern and comfortable environment.
“Our dedicated team looks forward to welcoming patients from Milton Park and supporting families in Abingdon, Didcot and the wider community with their oral health.”
