Property development and land promotion firm Jaynic has been appointed as the promotion partner for a 39-acre site at the Boxworth Road junction with the A14, just south of Cambridge Services.
The site is being promoted for classes B1 (business and offices), B2 (general industrial) and B8 (storage or distribution) employment space, on behalf of the landowner. The site is also identified in the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) for development.
Nic Rumsey, managing director of Jaynic, said “This site has huge potential for a warehouse/business park scheme of up to 580,000 sq. ft and we will shortly start discussions with South Cambridgeshire District Council about this opportunity.”
Jaynic has a good reputation in land promotion through the UK planning system for both residential and commercial ventures, including warehousing, logistics and business parks.
In total, the firm has 7.39 million sq. ft of warehousing and business park development throughout the East of England that is in their development pipeline, all the results of land promotion agreements with landowners across the region.
