Law firm Moorcrofts is putting on a Night at the Races to support its charity of the year SpecialEffect.

The Oxfordshire-based charity enables physically disabled people to enjoy computer games with family and friends and Moorcrofts and its friends will gather at Marlow Rowing Club on September 29 to raise the group some funds.

Entry is £15 which includes a fish and chip supper and there are sponsorship packages available. There will be eight on-screen races with bets taken for each and the opportunity to sponsor a horse or a race.

Julia Ferguson, head of Moorcrofts charity committee, said: “Moorcrofts’ charity Night at the Races was postponed due to Covid-19 so we are now very much looking forward to hosting this in person event.

“We look forward to welcoming those businesses and individuals who have already booked places and would like to encourage others to join us for a fun evening, whilst at the same time raising money for this very worthy charity.”
