Greencore Construction has appointed Jonathan Miller as operations director.
Mr Miller will spearhead delivery of ‘climate positive’ homes for Bicester-based Greencore which is ramping up its work to build high performance, low carbon properties using natural materials including hemp, lime, natural fibre insulation and timber, combined with the use of its own energy strategies.
In his 35 years in the industry Mr Miller has worked for Barratt, Taylor Wimpey, Berkeley and Countryside. And, in his most recent role as regional managing director of Kier Living, he was a part of the senior leadership team that managed the sale of the business and its re brand to Tilia Homes.
Mr Miller, said: “I am excited to be joining the team at Greencore and I am looking forward to driving our ambitious goals for the delivery of new climate positive homes. Throughout my 35-year career I have always had a passion for delivering sustainable developments and I believe my experience will help Greencore as it seeks to establish a new standard in house building.”
