House by Urban Splash, a new modern housebuilder committed to Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), has appointed two new and experienced members.
David Attfield has joined from Lovell Partnerships Ltd as Commercial Lead, responsible for all aspects of commercial delivery at Inholm. He brings his previous knowledge as Managing Quantity Surveyor for several high profile national construction firms and educational sector developments in Cambridge.
Andrew Cross has also joined from Winvic Construction as Project Lead and is responsible for all aspects of operational delivery at Inholm. Andrew has also worked for several major volume housebuilders and local developments in the area including Great Kneighton.
These appointments are to join the team to deliver their major development at Inholm, Northstowe, where the firm is creating a brand-new neighbourhood of 406 homes built by MMC. They also build on the early appointment of Mark Shirburne-Davies as Director for the project and join the team which includes; Mark Latham, Regeneration Director, Chris Shaw, Delivery Director, and Vicky Chipp and Hunter Lyden, both Development Managers.
Mark Shirburne-Davies says: “We are pushing ahead with our plans having started work on-site and nearly completed the sales pavilion ready to sell the first 43 homes on the Peninsula, which is the first phase we are building at Inholm. I am thrilled to welcome both David and Andrew into our team and looking forward to providing more construction jobs as the scheme progresses.”
The company is also looking to hire a Sales Manager for Northstowe adding further skill and expertise to the company’s growing local presence.
Northstowe is a new town being created 5 miles from Cambridge centre with excellent sustainable transport links to Cambridge, which will have a new town centre to host a range of amenities and already benefits from a brand-new school campus within a few short steps offering primary through to sixth form education.
House by Urban Splash is backed by award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash, in partnership with Japanese-based Sekisui House the largest and most sustainable housebuilder in the world, and the UK government’s housing accelerator, Homes England.
The company started construction on site this month and the sales pavilion will also open in the Autumn when sales of the first award-winning homes Town House homes hit the market.
