L&Q Estates is planning to build homes on agricultural land at Bicester.
The developer has submitted a scoping opinion request to Cherwell Disctrict Council to build on land between Gavray Drive, Charbridge Lane and a stretch of the Birmingham to Marylebone railway line.
Plans for the site which has an indicative capacity of 202 homes, are being drawn up by Edge Urban Design. Planner is David Lock Associates.
An application for housing on the site was initially approved in 2006 and an extension to that permission was granted, but later quashed at judicial review.
