Plans have been submitted for a science and business park of up to 42,286 sq m at a former quarry in Oxfordshire.

De Montalt Life Sciences’ outline application to Vale of White Horse District Council proposes, in its illustrative masterplan, seven buildings and two decked car parks at the 11.7-hectare former Wicklesham Quarry across a range of use classes.

They include class E(g)(i) (offices) and/or, E(g)(ii) (research and development), and/or, E(g)(ii) (light industrial) and/ or B2 (general industrial) and/or B8 (storage and distribution including data centre). The scheme, which will border the A420, is aiming for BREEAM Excellent.

The team on the project includes Kendall Kingscott on architecture, Mango Planning & Development as planning consultant and Eco Doodle as sustainability consultant.
