Mole Architects announced that they have submitted a planning application for a new housing projected in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.

The project, located in Wolverton town centre, comprises 29 new accessible apartments for senior living and co-housing purposes. The apartments are designed to M4(2) accessibility standards.

The scheme will form the heart of the Love Wolverton project which is being spearheaded by developer Town. It is hoped that this residential project will help to regenerate the historic town centre and high street of Wolverton.

The project aims to enable more sustainable ways of living as well as providing a high-density supply of homes on a series of car-free streets. Courtyard gardens are also included in the initial planning application.

Mole Architects worked with both Town and Still Green Cohousing on the project.
