A new scheme for homes at Bracknell Town’s former Larges Lane ground has come forward – with 29 fewer homes.
Bracknell Forest Council’s planning committee voted to approve plans for 117 homes, all of them flats, in May 2022 but the s106 agreement has yet to be signed.
Now the club has brought forward a new, alternative scheme for a total 88 homes which includes 24 three and four bedroom houses in a series of short terraces.
Again, there is an affordable allocation of 25 per cent. There will also be a total 166 car parking spaces and 191 cycle spaces.
The club’s intention is that both schemes remain implementable for a future developer to choose the preferred option.
