IWG has opened a Regus office in Harpenden, St Albans.
The flexible space provider has created a 6,410 sq ft venue at The Manor Group’s 1 Waterside. It has co-working space, private offices, meeting rooms, creative spaces and car parking.
IWG says by bringing the office space to the area, it is enabling local people to experience living in a 15-minute city by allowing them to work near home.
Mark Dixon, chief executive of IWG, said: “We are rapidly growing the IWG network across suburban and small town locations throughout the UK to meet the demand for hybrid working solutions, as employees turn their backs on long daily commutes and work in the heart of their local communities instead”.
“Our opening in Harpenden comes at a time when more and more companies are discovering that flexible working boosts employee happiness and satisfaction, while helping the environment. Our workplace model is also proven to increase productivity and allows for a business to scale up or down at significantly reduced costs.”
Cyril Ogunmakin, managing director of The Manor Group, said: “Following our successful launch of a co-living scheme last year in Hertfordshire, we decided to invest in a flexible co-working concept by purchasing and fitting out 1 Waterside, Harpenden.”
