Notting Hill Genesis (Notting Hill Home Ownership Ltd) has submitted revised plans for the site known as St Clare Business Park and Windmill Road, Hampton Hill.
The first submission was rejected following many objections, the revised planning submission is open for comments, and a decision is due October 11 2022.
Notting Hill plans to demolish the existing business park and replace it with a single building for mixed use of three to five storeys containing 98 flats and 14 houses.
The changes from the first submission were for fewer parking spaces by 19, an increase in the commercial area to a total of 2,085 sqm and more affordable homes. It is anticipated that fifty per cent of the homes will be affordable.
A virtual consultation was held on June 8, and 31 residents attended. Attendees raised concerns about the height of the building and the impact on local traffic.
