The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is hosting Place Labs workshops as it continues to consult on its masterplan.

OPDC’s Old Oak project will deliver a new urban district in West London, building on the area’s character with affordable homes, jobs, local facilities, and green and open spaces.

OPDC has confirmed that the feedback has been invaluable in helping them to understand local priorities for the area.

As the next step in the journey, this July, OPDC will hold a series of Place Lab workshops to understand people’s views further as we develop a Masterplan Framework.

These Place Labs follow on from the Illustrative Masterplan shared in May, building on the learnings and feedback gathered.

At these Place Lab workshops, OPDC will carry out detailed conversations around the following key themes:

  • Social Infrastructure & Use
  • Movement & Navigation
  • Place, Character & Identity
  • Landscape & Ecology

The workshops will be interactive, using visual materials to gather a deeper understanding of local needs and ambitions.
