Panattoni has revised its application for an industrial scheme close to J12 of the M4 at Theale.
In February 2020, the developer applied to West Berkshire Council for a 215,000 sq ft industrial development on an open 5.37-hectare site at the end of the High Street, accessed off Hoad Way.
That was withdrawn after discussions with council planning officials but now a new application, planned by Turley and designed by Stephen George + Partners, has been submitted for three buildings totalling 174,000 sq ft.
Panattoni is seeking flexible employment uses within Class E (light industrial), B2 (general industrial) and/or B8 (storage or distribution). The scheme will have a total 188 parking spaces.
