Reserved matters applications for both phases three and four have been submitted to the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Authority.

The phase three submission is comprised of 210 dwellings and phase four comprised a further 351 dwellings, both with associated infrastructure, and submitted by Barratt and David Wilson Homes.

The move comes after permission was granted to Barratt Homes for 410 new homes at the development earlier in the week, gaining unanimous approval by the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Authority.

Darwin Green is located in North East Cambridge, just 1.6 miles from the city centre, with extensive travel links, being near the A14, M11 and Cambridge train station. The site gained outline approval for 1,593 units (with a 40 per cent affordable allocation), along with a primary school, community facilities and retail units.

Earlier phases of the development are already available for purchase.
