Plans for a 25-storey residential tower in Woking town centre go before councillors on Tuesday (February 28) but officers have recommended refusal.
Housing association Abri Group (formerly Radian) applied in July to build the tower of 224 flats of one to three bedrooms on a site of just 0.17 of a hectare in Goldsworth Road.
But officers have recommended councillors on the authority’s planning committee refuse the scheme due to height and massive and the lack of legal agreements.
The scheme would mean the demolition of Technology House and Poole House.
The team on the project includes RBMP on design and Shrimplin on planning.
