Planning consultancy Lichfields has announced the promotion of Sarah Moorhouse to planning director in its Thames Valley team.

Sarah, who has been central to many leading high-profile tourism and leisure developments, has extensive experience working with both private and public sector clients across a variety of sectors.

Sarah said: “I am delighted to be promoted to planning director. The Thames Valley office has grown significantly over the past few years and I look forward to continuing to work with our talented team to drive forward exciting projects that contribute to the region’s development and prosperity.

“I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had at Lichfields and I’m excited to take on this new challenge as we continue to grow and innovate in the planning sector.”

Daniel Lampard, who leads the Thames Valley team, said: “Sarah has been instrumental in the success and growth of the Thames Valley office and we are excited to see her take on this new leadership role.

“Her experience, particularly in the tourism and leisure sectors, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint in the region.”

Notable projects Sarah has advised on include the conversion of Penn School in Buckinghamshire into a luxury boutique hotel and spa, proposals for new development at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Great Milton and various schemes at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.
