Cala Homes has appointed Sarah Pasco to lead its Thames business as managing director.

The Cala Thames region has grown rapidly in recent years and Sarah has been tasked with maintaining the growth.

Cala Thames has 13 current developments and a pipeline which will deliver a total 2,206 new homes by 2025.

Land acquisition will remain a key priority, focussing on Hampshire, Wiltshire, West Surrey, Berkshire and Dorset where Cala is seeking to expand its presence.

Sarah said: “It’s a great time to be taking the lead of the Cala Thames business as we cement ourselves in the South of England.

“I’m aware of the challenges that lie ahead and I’m confident we’re well placed to face them. My focus is on continuing the momentum in the region and developing the brilliant people around me who are so crucial to delivering success.

“Cala Thames is already in a strong position with over 150 people, has delivered 1,384 new homes in the last three years and is now a £250 million-plus turnover business.

“We’ve got key developments coming in 2023 – Cala at Finchampstead and Treetops due to launch as early as March – and we’re committed to working closely with landowners and communities throughout the region to deliver attractive and sustainable homes and developments.

“Another area I’m passionate about is promoting women within the construction industry. We build homes, lifestyles and futures in construction and there are lots of career opportunities available for young people looking to get started in a really exciting and varied industry.”

Sarah, who has almost 40 years experience in the industry, was previously with Taylor Wimpey, where she worked for 12 years, six as managing director for the southern counties region.
