Plans are being drawn up for around 800 homes on land at Aylesbury.

Manor Oak Homes has submitted, via Armstrong Rigg, a screening request over the need for an environmental impact assessment for its plans to develop a 25-hectare site north of Berryfields and east of Crispin Street.

As well as the homes, plans, being produced by Thrive Architects, include a 2.1-hectare site for a two-form entry primary school, a local centre with commercial and community uses and a mobility hub.

There will be open space including play areas, parkland, woodlands, food-growing areas and community amenity space. Green corridors will be integrated into the site.
