Plans for a large solar farm in Wokingham have been recommended for approval.
Wokingham Borough Council planning committee’s December 13 meeting will consider a proposal by farming group Hall Hunter Partnership to install 1,762 solar panels at Heathlands Farm in Honey Hill.
The electricity produced will support the operations of the farm with any excess going into the National Grid.
The site sits between accommodation for seasonal workers and polytunnels in which produce is grown.
