Ealing Council is seeking ideas for improving Southall over the next 10 years through a new survey focused on the town’s future.
The consultation puts particular emphasis on Broadway, The Green, the industrial areas, Southall Station, and Merrick Road. Council feedback will help shape proposals to support local businesses, improve public spaces, and make Southall more welcoming for everyone.
The council is encouraging input from anyone who lives, works, studies, shops, or spends time in Southall. Councillor Monica Hamidi said Southall is a vibrant and much-loved part of the borough, and that local people should help guide its future so plans reflect the needs of residents, businesses, and communities.
People can take part by completing a short online survey, which takes about 10 minutes and asks what they like about Southall and what they would like to see change. The survey is open until 11:59 pm on 5 July 2026 and is available in several languages, including Punjabi, Polish, Somali, Ukrainian, Tamil, and Urdu.
Residents can also share views in person at a drop-in event at the Dominion Centre, The Green, Southall, on Tuesday 30 June from 3-6 pm. Council regeneration, investment, and jobs staff will be there to answer questions and help people complete the survey.
