The iconic St James development, White City Living, transformed into a world-class fashion stage, as it welcomed the JCA | London Fashion Academy’s fourth annual MA Show, under the direction of the internationally acclaimed Professor Jimmy Choo.
The show presented the designs of the Academy’s graduating MA cohort against the spectacular backdrop of West London’s first residential rooftop beach club.
Set high above the city with panoramic views, London’s skyline frames the newly opened, Mediterranean-inspired beach club, offering panoramic views across the capital. This bold, unconventional stage reflected the JCA ethos, celebrating originality and presenting fashion in ways that surprise and inspire.
Lucy Choi, director of JCA, remarked, “This year, the work our Master’s students have produced is truly outstanding. Each brand/collection is distinct, which is something we actively encourage at JCA. We pride ourselves on not having a house style; instead, we offer a curriculum that empowers designers to bring their creativity to the forefront without compromising craftsmanship. We were delighted to partner once again with the Berkeley Group for this year’s show.”
Founded by Prof. Jimmy Choo, the JCA has become a launchpad for emerging designers by nurturing and pushing the boundaries of fashion education. This partnership with Berkeley Group reflects a shared vision for innovation, quality, and experiences that leave a lasting impression – whilst embodying the spirit of originality and bold vision that defines both JCA and the next generation of fashion entrepreneurs it supports.
Neil Ramsdale, managing director of St James and St William West London, part of the Berkeley Group, said: “Building on the success of last year’s collaboration, we were thrilled to welcome Professor Jimmy Choo and the JCA back to White City Living. It was a privilege to host their MA Show during London Fashion Week at our newly opened rooftop beach club. This event underlined White City Living’s role as a destination for innovation and creativity, along with world-class culture.”
The JCA show showcased five emerging designers – Elle Curzon, Grace Emerson, Jasmyn Lopuszansky, Patricia Reis, and Sophie Hollands – whose collections push boundaries in design, innovation, and storytelling.
